Thalia & Melpomene's Players

The Finger Lakes first ever non-profit, all youth theatre group!!

The muses of Ancient Greece were demi-goddesses who loved and cherished the fine arts. There were only nine of these gifted women, each possessing her own talent in art. Thalia and Melpomene were no exceptions. Thalia was the muse of comedy; Melpomene was the muse of tagedy. From these names and their meaning, came our group's poetic (if not hard to pronounce)name.

In Thalia and Melpomene's Players, we want to give students of drama the opportunity to find their niche; whether it be in front of the curtain, behind, or directing. We invite people from all walks of life to participate in this group. But, as this being a youth theatre group we ask that only young adults falling in the age group of 12 - 20 years old join.

This entire program will be run by young adults. This includes a Board of Directors, the casts, stage crew and directors.
